The 2015-2016 Patrick Wayne Awards!
The absolute worst in game shows of the 2014-2015 Season

The patron saint of the site in Patrick Wayne has been enshrined in trophy form and has been awarded to seven deserving recipients.  Those seven are: The Our Little Genius Scandal, Love Triangle, The Australian Price Is Right Revival, Take It All, Million Second Quiz, Buzzr Password and The Briefcase.  Normally, it would have been an easy mission to find a lot of terrible game shows, but that wasn't the case this year.  Game Shows have seen a massive uptick in quality this year, so we went a different route this year.  We took the six nominees and turned them into 3 Finalists for the award.  The three finalists for the prestigious award of suckitude are.....

TPIR's Arch Rivals Show:  You knew The Price Is Right wasn't going to escape the year without making it on this list and the Arch Rivals show encapsulates all that is wrong with the current trend of the show.  Changing up the rules where if your rival wins you sit down is bad enough, but it made the fatal error in making someone root against someone while they try to win on the show for financial gain.  This turned off a lot of viewers, but not the producers as they turned this format into a whole week for next season.

Celebrity Food Fight:  Hollywood Game Night doesn't get the credit it so rightfully deserves for bringing back celebrity driven shows.  Leave it up to Food Network to take the core concept of the show and ruining it so bad that the amazingly talented Andy Richter can't save it.  The games are copy-pasted from Hollywood Game Night and the only reason why the celebs are competing is that the loser does the dishes?  What type of reward is that for the celebs and the viewers? It made viewers do their own dishes instead of watching this show.

First Impressions:  Dana Carvey's baby turns out to be just as big of a dud as his movie, "The Master of Disguise". Not only are the contestants not amateurs as the show purports in the disclaimer, but the acts are coached beforehand on what to do when up on stage.  Freddie Prinze Jr. looked more comfortable writing for the hell-hole that is WWE Creative than working on this show. It's one of the most dishonest shows to be up for a Wayney Award.

Below is the actual poll to vote on the three nominees.  The winner will be announced on September 1st.  Vote early and vote often!
