There are certain DAotW articles where I try to be snarky or cutesy. I think this week's will be neither of those.

The following moment falls under the "Secily Rule" meaning it happened more than a week ago (April 5th to be exact), but was so utterly unreal that it has to be brought up at some point in the near future.

Well, the future is now, so instead of having me set things up, why don't I let Meredith Vieira do my job for me. Have at it, Mere!

So here's our mother-to-be from Naperville, Illinois.

As you can see, Lisa has played the game well. She's used only one lifeline, and already has $43,000 in the baby's college fund. So, all is right with the world. And, then came the question about pregnancy...

She has got to know this! She's going through it for pete's sake!

One answer makes a lot more sense than the others. That answer being "C" since June is 9 months after September.

I'm not going to make fun of Lisa for counting the months off. I think most of us would be doing the very same thing just to make sure we're right especially with this much money at stake.

Lisa counts the months off a couple of times and says it's "9 months just about". And just before it seems like she's about to make "First week of June" her final answer, the following happens...

Even more unsettling was the fact that a few folks in the audience were clapping for her and thinking that she was on the right track.

And boom goes the dynamite.

Lisa leaves with a $1000 nest egg, the latest "Dumb Answer of the Week" and thoughts of how much more money she could have had for her bun in the oven.
