Geoff Edwards' big break and his biggest bomb
CBS: (March 26th, 1973 - June 22nd, 1973)
Geoff Edwards is one of the best game show hosts of all time. He could turn a middling show and make it great. Starcade wouldn't be nearly as memorable if he wasn't at the helm. He could also pinch hit for great hosts and keep their shows flowing smoothly, such as Let's Make A Deal, Chain Reaction and Tic Tac Dough. His first hosting gig was one that, well, flopped harder than the latest Fantastic Four movie. Jack Barry took an old format and included a bunch of celebrities onto it. Presto! new show! Here's Hollywood's Talking!
