It's 2019, and it's time to ring in the new year with Marc Power and a doubleheader of lying liars with the revival of the Liars Club called The New Liars Club, which aired in the US and Canada, followed by its Canadian spiritual successor The Next Line. The question remains, are both of these shows any good or are we lying when we say that they were better off in the 70s with Bill Armstrong and Allen Ludden?
